WHAT IS TECHPRENEURSHIP MASTERCLASS?

The Tech-preneur Masterclass is a ‘get out of the building’ startup program that applies the Lean Startup Methodologies to business ideas and product development. Taught by Steve Blank, Stanford professor and pioneer of the Lean Startup Movement, these methodologies are what Facebook, Dropbox, Youtube, Groupon and many other successful companies we know today applied to build their startup ideas.

SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS

In a traditional entrepreneurship training, you are told to do market research and then write a 30-page business plan that is used to chart the course of the business. This is setting yourself up for failure if you are a startup. The Lean Startup approach is the very opposite: you first acquire customers before you build the product. You will do all this in a one-page template called the business canvas.

The canvas will help you to set yourself up for success. You will be taught how to develop a value proposition out of a business idea, how to identify and understand your customer segments, and how to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through iteration and pivoting. And this is just the beginning.
