During the November Prematurity Awareness Month, we will be raising awareness around the global statistics of 15 million babies born prematurely across the world and the more than 1 million of these babies who die each year with the highest numbers (60%) attributed to sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Ghana loses over 24,000 precious premature babies each year. We can and should do more.
