Benga is a popular Kenyan music form that originated in the 1950s, and is characterised by its fast-paced beat and finger-picking guitar technique. Hadithi Hangout shall peruse through and reflect upon literature around this fascinating soundscape through Shades of Benga, exploring the trailblazers and reaches of its impact, and anticipate what's to come within this vibrant genre.
