The Ensemble Medici was founded about 30 years ago by members of the “Orchestra of the German Paediatricians”. Besides studying medicine all the members of the Ensemble have got a professional education on their instruments. So they are doctors as well as artists. The concert tour to Kenya in 2016 is to support the education in classical music for the children living in the slums. As paediatricians they know how music can influence the development of children, socially and emotionally. Tickets are 400ksh for adults and free for students with ID.
