Jumanne Mtambalike is an entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, and a community reformer.
He loves working with young people and forming new ventures. He was the first hub manager of Buni Innovation Hub which is the largest innovation and tech entrepreneurship hub in Tanzania. He has worked with over 500 startups and over 3000 young entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, and innovators. He blogs about technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
He recently founded Sahara Ventures a for impact project management consulting firm which incorporates innovation and technology to manage for impact projects. Sahara Ventures is also the organizer of the Sahara Sparks event, East Africa largest innovation, and technology entrepreneurship conference. Sahara Sparks has already worked with 239 startups, received more than 1800 attendees, 30 regional and global investors and secure partnership with over 10 reputed global organizations.
Sahara Ventures has also been running corporate backed startup accelerators with global agencies such as UKAID and HIVOS to address different challenges facing the community using entrepreneurial approach. He believes the best way to solve a community problem is to build an innovative business model around it.
