I am pleased to invite you to the African Women Leadership Summit (YAWLS) 2017, being put together by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD), a non-governmental organization in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) and Managed and Supported by Training Excellence South Africa.
The Summit is billed to hold at the Coastlands Musgrave Hotel, Durban, South Africa, on May 4th 2017, with the theme: Improving Young African Women’s Access to Mentors and Incubators; Develop, Educate, Engage & Empower.
Being a platform for young women to discuss gaps and issues affecting them in various areas of their lives, YAWLS 2017 is part of CELD’s efforts to address the economic and social challenges that young African women are faced with.
The Summit therefore aims to bring together power and influential women who have succeeded in their professional lives, and who embody the qualities of leadership in displaying active, creative and integrative efforts in achieving success at personal, national, and regional levels, to deliberate on ways of inclusion and empowerment of women in the mainstream economy through skills development, enterprise development, entrepreneurship projects and improving young women’s access to mentors and incubators.
Kindly note that we will be glad to receive your confirmation of participation on or before Friday, April 28th, 2017. You can contact me on hawa@trainexcellence.co.za for further information
