This Recycled Art Exhibition forms part of the Yoomo Bε Ga Environmental Awareness Project which basically presents to the general public, the benefits of appropriate alternative methods of handling wastes. The exhibition opens at 4pm on January26th and runs till the 24th of February. Activities for the Opening ceremony include a Keynote address to be delivered by Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, and performances by Lucky Lartey and his Unik Afro Dance Group, and poets, Fapempong and Sarpong Kumankuma. Yoomo Bε Ga: The Recycled Art Exhibition features the works of nine seasoned Ghanaian artists, who seeks to address pressing social issues through their art. They include Ed-Franklin Gavua, Nana Anoff, Tei Huagie, Matilda and Yaw of M.Y Extreme Dcor, Abigail Asare Bediako, Jonathan Amartey, Rufai Zakari and Solomon Adjirako. Rolling alongside the artworks will be different series of documentaries about environmental issues in Ghana.It will also be interactive sessions such as Meet the Artist, workshops and poetry night.
