Ase'The tour will include:Arrival at host hotel -- Msuites. You will receive shuttle service to the hotel from (ACC) Kokota International Airport -- get settled mingle -- get a bite to eat and drink.Day 1 - ACCRA -- Tour the surrounding area, visit local markets, Drumming 101, Kwasi Nkrumah Memorial Museum and Burial Site, Black Star National Square, WEB Dubois Pan African Museum, local restaurantDay 2 & 3 - Pack your bags because we are relocating to KUMASI at the Amankwaa Bed & Breakfast. Okomfo Anokye Sword Museum, Manhyia Palace, Potter's Village Children's Shelter, Asante Naming Ceremony -- the elders will need the day of your birth. You will be given a Soul Name which is the day of the week you were born and a Spirit name which is your character. It is customary to wear white -- but not mandatory. (Be sure to use the bathroom before going to the village) lol. Kumasi Market -- get unique fabrics for a local seamstress to design apparel for you, purchase fresh foods if you dare, shea butter, black soap, etc. Local cuisine.Day 4 & 5 - Donkor Nsuo (Slave River) at Assin Manso. You may want to roll up your pants legs or wear shorts if you get in the river. This was the last our ancestors were allowed to bathe before the 3 weeks trek to the slave castles through the forest and rough terrain.bound in chains and naked from head to toe. Check in to Coconut Grove and enjoy the tranquility of the beach resort after the emotions of Slave River ...dine, ride the horses, get a drink from the bar, play pool, shop at the gift store or get a coconut Ghanaian style 1, 2, 3--straw. Next day visit the Cape Slave Castle for a historic tour of their grueling accounts in the dark dungeons before exiting the Door of No Return. Trust me ...their spirits are still heavily there. Return to Coconut Grove for meditation, rest and relaxation.Day 6 - Return to our host hotel in Accra -- MSuites to enjoy a day to relax, swim in the Olympic size pool, enjoy a drink at the open air bar at Paparazzi, smoke Hookah and/or discuss hitting the shores of Labadi Beach. Enjoy local cuisine near the AC Mall or hotel restaurant.Day 7 - Head to Kakum National Park in Central Ghana, climb the mountain and traverse across the 7 swinging canopy bridges if you dare. For the faint of heart -- don't worry -- there is an outdoor lounge just for you. Walk through the tranquil Aburi Botanical Gardens just outside of Accra.Day 8 - Enjoy feeding the Mona Monkeys at the Tafi Aotme Moneky Sanctuary. They'll jump right out of the trees on to your arm for a nice banana treat. Then there is nothing like a waterfall massage from the Wli Waterfall. It is the tallest waterfall in Western Africa. Be sure to bring water socks or some type of shoe that can get wet because there are stones and rocks on the floor of the falls. Yes, the water is cold ....but it's worth it!!! Enjoy the interesting cuisine and rooms with mood lights at Kiki's in the Volta Region. Pack light.Day 9 - Chale Wote Street Art Festival is aaaall that -- featuring some of Africa's most talented artists. It's amazing!! There will be plenty of vendors for those who still need to grab a few things. Enjoy cusine at Mama Africa's and return to the street fest to catch the parade of locals. Due to the massive crowd it may not hurt to give everyone a time and location to meet back up. Day 10 -- Guests depart for the airport based on their itinerary. We will provide shuttle service. If anyone decides to leave on Day 11 please let us know ahead of schedule so that we can make sure accommodations remain and notify of additional charges. Rooms are based on double occupancy. If you MUST have a single please provide an extra $400 to your total.THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Airfare is not included due to participants departing from various cities/states. Inez International.LV will assist with comparable rates.

There are absolutely NO REFUNDS after March 15th. We are dealing with international travel, accommodations and excursion fees.
