Xperience Ghana takes you on a tour to see the beautiful city Aburi with charming landscapes, in the Akuapem South District of the Eastern Region. The Eastern Region and Aburi, in particular, plays a major role in Ghana’s Ecotourism industry. The city of Aburi distinguishes itself with its amazing breezy weather patterns, refreshing waterfalls, Peduase Lodge (a presidential holiday resort and retreat built and used by the first President of Ghana, Dr Kwame Nkrumah), the historic Aburi Gardens and charming landscapes, such as the Aburi Mountains.
There’s going to be a fully air-conditioned mini-bus available at the Accra Mall to convey the tour team from Accra to Aburi.
The first place to visit will be the Aburi Botanical Gardens located in the Aburi township where the tour team will be led by the tour guide through the garden, sharing historic facts, scientific names and some shocking uses of certain trees and flowers.
There will be a lot of fun games to play and great moments to share. Lunch will be taken before the team exit the garden.
The tour team will then move to the Adom Waterfalls to experience the refreshing natural flow of water from the top mountainous hills of Aburi. Historical facts about the place will be shared by the tour guide and the team will be taken around the entire site. Participants can enjoy an amazing swimming experience, catching the lens of the camera for some unique shots.
From there, the tour team moves back to Accra.
