Counting down the days till our second edition of Woori Fetsival this Independence Day weekend in Wa. We have an exiting program line up for you!
Woori Festival is a celebration of the Upper West’s rich and diverse weaving traditions.
From tours, weaving demonstrations to textile workshops, panel discussions, forums, live music and more - Woori Festival attendees are sure to be immersed in the sounds, sights, tastes and textures of the Upper West.
The festival is free to attend and this year’s opening exhibition will feature works by artists Halimatu Iddrisu, Edward Lamptey, Ransford Anane, Edinam Boni-Mississo, Gideon Hanyame,Seyram Agbleze, Tei Huagie and Billie Mcternan.
