Women are a crucial yet underutilised force in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). They form just one-quarter of the global STEM workforce, the global contribution of women in STEM is just 23.4% which affects the economy of most countries because only half of the citizens(Boys) are contributing their quota towards the development of such countries.
As humans, boys and girls often have similar amounts of interest and similar performance in STEM fields. But by the time they reach adolescence, girls often lose that interest due to discrimination and societal pressure.
This is an issue because STEM fields suffer without women. “Blind spots” develop in industries with little to no diversity; That's the reason GLOWLINK is placing an urgent call to girls and women to conscientize them to occupy their seats in the area of STEM.
For the world to achieve sustainable development, girls and women are not to be left behind in STEM, they must be encouraged to give their best. It's going to be educative, interactive, empirical and exciting. Age ranges from 13 to 60+.
