'When Women Speak', a documentary film shot entirely in Ghana.

The screening takes place on Tuesday April 18th at Howard University's LKD Auditorium.

The film traces the coming of age story of 16 women during the 1960s & 1970s. They share their life experiences in their own words about a time when Ghana went through its periods of single-party, multi-party, and military government.

The film tells their stories through interviews, animation, archive footage and photographs from that era.
