Valentine's is a day of love. It's the day we take time to appreciate those we love in different ways. However, ever thought about those who are 'unloved'? Street families are people who live in the streets with or without their blood relatives for one reason or the other. When is the last time you took time off to feed, or dress just one of them? Oh wait, or do we look at them as a nuisance? As a source of insecurity? Today, let's look at them differently. Let's look at them as our brothers and sisters. Do you have clothes or shoes or towels you could set apart for just one of them? Please do so. And let's love on these people on Valentine's day. Alumasi Heart in partnership with Kenya Red Cross Nairobi Branch, The Iranian Red Crescent, Mayah East Africa among others shall be feeding, cleaning and taking the street families through medical examination on the 14th of February this year. You can take time to participate by donating clothes, shoes or towels. Our collection points are Kenya Redcross Nairobi Branch offices, Pawa 254 and Multisat on Kimathi House.
