Starts: Thursday, 25 June, 2015 06:30pm
Ends: Thursday, 25 June, 2015 09:30pm
Join us on Thursday June 25th at 6:30pm as we invite expert professionals to explore how to protect your ideas, and share them. We will be exploring copyright legalities in Ghana as well as how to prepare a proposal that will get your idea noticed. And as always, ample time for Q&A.
Alison Roadburg is the Programs Manager of iSpace. She holds a MA in Participation, Power & Social Change form the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, UK. Working on both the monitoring/evaluation and business development angles in previous and current positions, she is uniquely attuned to the kinds of language, format, design and execution of a winning proposal. Alison has a keen interest in the power of words for persuasion, and the ability to relay your idea on a piece of paper.
Naa Sarku Nettey is currently an associate at Oxford & Beaumont Solicitors. She will be speaking about copyright laws, rights and procedures in Ghana. She holds a certificate in Russian Language from the Pushkin Institute of Russian Language, Moscow, Russia. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics as well as Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana. She was called to the Bar in 2014. She also has a host of leadership, volunteer work as well as research and development activities under her belt.
Hope to see you there!
