Last year I went to Uganda and worked with a team from Bethel Church, Redding as we assisted Show Mercy International in the ongoing work there. We saw miracles, led many to Christ and encouraged the pastors and people. I was so blessed to be part of this trip. This year I'm leading a team that includes a group from DreamHouse, the local church Charissa and I serve as pastors. My daughter Sylvia is going on this as her first missions trip. This is very exciting! Show Mercy's purpose is to mobilize, inspire and empower individuals to live life on purpose while reaching out in love. Over 50% of Ugandans are under the age of 16. This is an opportunity to impact the future of this nation. Team activities can include: - Village Outreach: Say No To Hunger, HERO Program, Prison Ministry - Encouraging and praying for the sick in local hospital and prisons - Visiting and sharing in village primary and secondary schools - Working with orphans and children in the villages - Training and equipping local churches and leadership groups - And so much more!
