Uganda Marathon is offering Grassroots Uganda 5 charity slots in their 2015 marathon! The fee is $55 USD for expats to run, and runners for Grassroots Uganda are asked to fund-raise from friends and family both in Uganda and back home to raise a goal of $1,500 per person. This money will be used to fund our rural Libraries, and to help develop our demonstration Farm. Donations/sponsorship funds to our 'runners' are tax deductible in both the USA and the UK as the marathon is in accordance with the Shaku Foundation. 90% of all funds raised by our runners will come back to support Grassroots Uganda.
