Snoke Gender Justice and the University of California Global Health Institute (UCGHI) will be hosting an intensive course on building women’s empowerment, health programmes, and advocacy. Upon completion of the course participants will be able to analyze case studies in women’s health, masculinities, and empowerment, develop and present an advocacy campaign or program incorporating relevant gender and empower theory, and develop other valuable leadership skills. The two week training is scheduled to take place in Nairobi Kenya, September 1 to 16, 2015. Applications are open to all those who are fluent in English, possess an undergraduate degree, and have prior experience in health programmes and policies.
