Dear Cherished Partner, 

Design and Technology Institute (DTI) is a privately accredited Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institute. It has established itself as the model private TVET institution in Ghana, leading innovation and delivery. DTI offers specialized skills training programs to youth, master craft persons, and SMEs in Precision Welding and Fabrication, Design Innovation (3D Graphics), Entrepreneurship, and Precision Quality (PQ). DTI is the lead private-sector advocate for integrating PQ in the policies of private agencies and PQ curricula into academia from SHS to Technical Universities.

 The training programs offered by DTI run for 18 months and integrate 12 months of intensive on-campus practical instruction and 6 months of Workplace Experience Learning (WEL) program. The 6-month WEL program is a mandatory industrial attachment that all DTI students must undertake to complete their 18-month studies successfully.

The WEL program exposes DTI students to the operations and practices of the industry, helping them gain practical industry experience to better prepare them for the job market. Upon completing the WEL, students are awarded a CTVET-accredited certificate and an enrichment certificate from DTI.

Ahead of transitioning our students into industry, DTI is organizing a two-day transition to work and career fair on the 14th and 15th of July,2023. The objective of the event is to bring our students and industry partners together in one space to orient the students to the expectations of the job market ahead of the internship program.

You are cordially invited to attend the June 15, 2023, career fair at the DTI Campus in Mempeasem, East Legon, behind the Ghana Metrological Agency head office. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
