Kakamega County shall host a Thirdway Alliance Forum on 28th March, 2014 in Lugari Constituency. The Forum will bring together persons of influence, the youth and general public to discuss matters of governance and development. Is Devolution working for you? At the end of the Forum, A Working Group will be established. The working Group will be tasked with presenting identified concerns to county leadership and also working as a monitoring committee to ensure resolutions agreed upon are implemented. Kakamega county occupies the heart of Western Kenya. Rich in culture and significance, it boasts as home of Kakamega Forest, and the crying Rock of Ilesi. Kakamega county is located in western kenya about 30km north of the equator and consists of 12 constituencies in total namely: Butere, Mumias, Matungu, , Likuyani , Mumias East , Khwisero, Shinyalu, Lurambi, Ikolomani, Lugari malava and Navakholo.
