Hello future leader, Are you interested in becoming a campaign organizer, a political campaign manager and want to help your political candidate to win elections based on issues. Are you interested to learn how to elect a progressive candidate and win on issues? Are you interested in improving your public speaking and leadership skills? The time is now; the Young Political Leadership School is here for you. The Young Political Leadership School Program builds a cadre of young national political savvy leaders, campaign organizers, campaign managers, youth candidates, and women leaders equipped with the rudiments of political engagements, to effectively manage and be responsive to the national political environment of their nations. Students at the Young Political Leadership School Program spend five days in the classroom learning about the campaign process, leadership skills/styles, public speaking, and citizen engagement. They learn about campaign communications, social media, public relations, and voter contacts/canvassing, etc. The second phase of the project will support students to spend 12 weeks organizing events that will expose and prepare them for real political leadership to transform their nations. The program is suitable for students, youth/women leaders, candidates, professionals, and political enthusiasts. Program: The program is designed to expose young people to real electoral politics, campaign process, public speaking, leadership skills, and begin the process of preparing them for transformational political leadership to build their nations. Program Fee: The third semester of the Young Political Leadership School is fully funded by the United Nations Mission in Liberia through the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, His Excellency, Farid Zarif. Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate level students, as well as to those interested in politics and leadership development. Must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years, females are encouraged to apply.
