The Unsaid explores how silence is an effective form of communication and how the spaces between words are as important as the words themselves. It will explore minimalism, white spaces and the concept of ‘Less’. It will be a discussion spiced with book readings, art exhibitions, musical performances and conversation. The facilitators at UNSAID include- Bem Ioordah, a music artiste who has mastered the art of sparse lyrics and vague references. Muyiwa Logor, the Curator of the Monochrome Africa project captures daily aesthetics of the city of Lagos in shades of white and black – with no colours in-between. Osisiye Tafa, Author of ‘Sixty Percent of a True Story’ who leaves his stories hanging and offers no closure as the only closure in his works. Editi Effiong, a technologist who is constantly exploring the interface between content and technologist. All discussions will be curated by Ferdynand Adimefe.
