A Prayer for the Nation of Kenya by Jimmy Kairu. Our Father and Our God, we praise You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve. Yet we know all is not right with Kenya. We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we are currently facing. Convict us of sin. Help us to turn to You in repentance and faith. Forgive us, oh Lord, Forgive us. Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace. We pray today for our nation's leaders. All elected, nominated and appointed leaders anointed by You. Give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it. You have said, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." May this be a new era for Kenya, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord. May our leaders fear You of Lord of All creation. May you protect our nation from all kinds of evil and pestilence. May you protect our president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his deputy William Samoei Ruto. May you vanquish all our enemies and restore peace in our land. We rebuke all evil powers and demonic principalities that have been set out on Kenya ahead of the Presidential Election of October 17th, and please wash this our land and all it's citizens, with the Blood of Jesus Christ and the Power of The Holy Spirit. Dear Lord forgive, protect & fight for us. Father do not let us be destroyed by those who mean to destroy us. We humbly request for your mighty Hand to fall upon those who are sacrificing our children, our sons and daughters, in their pursuit for power. This we pray in Your holy name, Amen. .....
