The Academy of Dance and Arts is mounting a holiday production entitled “The Nutcracker” on December 15th at The KENYA NATIONAL THEATER and December 16th&17th at the Rhino House Ballroom Karen, Nairobi. The story started Clara and her enchanted Nutcracker toy discovers a magical world, where she battles with the Mouse King and meets a strange soldier. As the air grows colder, Clara and her valiant Nutcracker was driven by angels to ride across to the glistening Land of Snow where her adventure really begins. From the sound of the recorded orchestra of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece tuning up, to the final bows and cheers, a trip to The Academy of Dance and Art’s “The Nutcracker” in the magnificence of the Kenya National Theater and to the intimate venue of Rhino House Ballroom is an unforgettable Christmas treat.
