This Tchaikovsky classic will provide more than one hundred Kenyan dance students with the opportunity to perform and the audience with an opportunity to witness a spectacular event. The proceeds from these performances will go to DCK Sponsorship Programme.
Included in our cast are not only the DCK students who currently participate in full time training at our Langata and Lavington based studios, but also twenty-six dance students from the Kibera slum and an additional sixteen students from Mainflow Primary School in Ngong Town. For many of these students, this will be the first time they have ever performed on a big stage or had the chance to express themselves artistically and find an inner confidence that will shine through for the rest of their lives.
