The Kenya CyberCrime Conference 2016 will take place on 3rd and 4th November 2016 at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. We have partnered with the Kenya Cyber Security & Forensics Association to host the conference which will be guided by the theme ‘Rethinking CyberCrime in a Dynamic Economy in Achieving Vision 2030.” The Conference will seek to bring top industry players in emerging technology, information security and members from the legal fraternity to debate matters that threaten our cyber space and hinder our collective accomplishment of Vision 2030. More specifically, it will look at potential solutions along the Detection, Prevention, Investigation and Prosecution of cyber crime in Kenya. The event will provide a platform for participants to jointly address challenges on cybercrime and discuss opportunities. The theme of the conference embodies the contemporary social, economic and security threats industries are facing with the raise of cyber crime in today’s dynamic economy. The topical angles that will be discussed at the conference are: 1. Cloud Computing 2. Big Data 3. Electronic and Mobile Commerce 4. Financial Technology 5. Cyber Fraud and Cyber Terrorism 6. Cyber Policies and Cyber Laws The conference admission fee is Kshs 29,000/- incl of VAT per delegate. Registration closes on the 2nd November 2016. All tickets will be sold before the event. No tickets will be available at the venue.
