The Intercity Marathon is the first full marathon road race in Nigeria and supported by the Lagos State Atheletic Association.

The Intercity Marathon schduled for october 1st 2014 is also known as The Freedom Road Race. This event is for all Nigerians to take part in. Also to remind Nigerians, despite the recent challenges and threats we are facing in recent times we are free people.
