Tahir is a photographer and artist born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and is now based in Brooklyn, NY. Portraiture and environmental portraits are his passion and a source of inspiration.
He is keenly interested in socioeconomic topics which inform his artwork. He enjoys intervening in spaces and staging photographs to make new dialogues between object and person. His photography suits editorial and fine art practice.
