The "A" Effect (A Poetic Experience) is an initiative designed specifically using Arts - Spoken word poetry as a creative tool to tell stories of things happening in our communities, as a way of making messages more meaningful, relatable, evoking emotions and behavioral change. The thematic areas of performances will circle around Climate Change and Environmental crisis, Societal Ills and Injustice, Child Abuse, Leadership and Mental Health, Love and Romance, Faith Based and Humanity inspirations, among others.
The event promises to be informative, educative, entertaining and as well as surgical to people or communities broken.
