The fourth edition of the Japan Motors/ ETV Ghana Corporate Run is scheduled to take place Saturday 20th September, 2014.

This is a fun event by corporate bodies to encourage healthy lifestyles and engender cordially corporate relationship, among participants and companies. It also seeks to put into practice the old Roman saying that a “sound mind in a sound body”.

According to the Ghana Health Service; 78, 000 Ghanaians die annually, due to non-communicable diseases like hypertension, diabetes, cardio-vascular disorders e.t.c. However, these diseases are lifestyle related and can be corrected with lifestyle changes like exercising regularly.

Hence, we believe that, the 2014 Japan Motors/ETV Ghana Corporate Run is very relevant and will help to address this challenge. Furthermore 5% of the revenue generated from this event will also be donated to The Ghana Blind Union.

THE EVENT

The 5km run will commence at exactly 6am, at the Silver Star Tower with warm up exercises. The actual race will start at 6:00am from the Silver Star Tower to the Akuafo Circle at 37 Hospital, turn left to the el-wak traffic lights, then left to the Airport Round-About, left to the Airport Traffic Lights and ends at the Silver Star Tower. 
The last runner will be expected to finish at 8am. 
There will be the presentation of prizes after breakfast.

PARTICIPATION 
There are two possible ways a corporate entity can participate in this event; 
a) The company or employees can pick up registration forms from any of the front desk of the following organizations; Japan Motors, e.tv Ghana, Happy FM, Silverbird Lifestyle Store & Silver Star Tower. 
b) To register, one must submit their business card or a letter from their HR department confirming employment. 
c) VIP Breakfast will be available after the run for GHc50. 
d) Non-sponsoring companies cannot register more than 10 people. 
e) Interested Corporate Bodies can also sponsor by signing on to a sponsorship package. Please refer to the attached sponsorship packages. 
f) Your completed forms should be dropped only at Silver Star Towers and Global Media Alliance.
