The main objective is to Empower youth in youth clubs and associations with skills to run effectively and start up peace building and development community based initiatives. During the retreat the following topics shall be covered: 1. Public speaking 2. The role of youth in Peace building in Rwanda 3. Negotiations and Conflict management 4. Project management 5. Unemployment solutions 6. Leadership and Governance 7. Advocacy 8. Critical thinking 9. Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis –Field visit (Murambi Memorial Center) Global center for peace and development is a peace building and development supportive youth organization that was founded by two youth ambassadors and one champion for Rwanda Peace Education Program in 2014, with the mission to empower youth with skills to take lead in peace building and developing societies through capacity building and creating space of dialogues for peace and advocacy. NB: Participants will pay their transport to and from Murambi Memorial Center.
