St. Mary’s University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, African Union Commission, the Association African Universities (AAU), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and the International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa (IICBA/UNESCO), is organizing the 15th International Conference on Private Higher Education in Africa, during 25th-28th July, 2017 at the Intercontinental Addis Hotel in Addis Ababa. The theme of the Conference is “Ensuring Quality through Enhanced Public Private- Partnership”. The Conference is expected to bring fresh insights on how to strengthen quality and relevance in expanding higher education in Ethiopia through public-private initiatives. More than 350 university leaders, educators, policy/decision-makers, researchers, and representatives of national, regional and international organizations from Ethiopia, Africa and the rest of the world are expected to attend the Conference.
