It's finally here!!! The 14th edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is here again. The Marathon is the flagship project for the ‘Seeing is Believing’ community imitative that aims to raise funds for the needy in the community. The objectives of the marathon apart from providing an opportunity for the local athletic talents to excel, include creating a community event for everyone’s enjoyment, and to raise funds for the needy in the community, that is, the “Seeing is Believing” community initiative. We were fortunate to particiapate in Last year’s event, which attracted over 22,000 participants from all walks of life. The marathon has received vast media coverage over the years which have seen the event broadcasted around Africa and other international news channels as well as in our local media. This year, Women who Hike - Africa, would like to put together a team to participate in the Half marathon. We invite everyone to take part in the various categories (5,2km, 10km, Half and Full Marathons).
