Spiritpreneurship Summit is a high profile business networking event that seeks to inspire a new generation of Christian business leaders and entrepreneurs whose main objective for being in business is to create substantial wealth and use their influence to advance the course of the gospel in the marketplace.
Amazingly, what started just three years ago as a simple gathering has evolved into the Ghana’s largest gathering of most extraordinary leadership community of entrepreneurs, leaders from civil society and prominent business leaders as well as leaders in government. Leading professionals from key sectors of the economy, such as Banking, Investment Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, Aviation and Transport, Retail, Media and Marketing, Energy and Tourism, Utilities, Healthcare, IT and Technology, Oil and Gas etc., have attended Spiritpreneurship Summit. This year’s event is the 4th edition and promises to be bigger!
Recent research indicates that many Christians are yet to rediscover business from a biblical perspective and recognize what Jesus taught that business can be an important way to build the kingdom of God on earth. Today, it is very disheartening and unfortunate that billions of dollars are currently in the hands of godless entrepreneurs, business leaders and other corrupt organizations whose hidden agenda is to shut down the preaching of the Gospel. However, in these days it is evident that God is anointing men and women to go into business, plunder the wealth of the sinners and use the spoils for the advancement of the kingdom.
Arguably, business and entrepreneurship can be an effective vehicle not only to meet our own needs and that of shareholders but as a means of underwriting world evangelization. It’s unfortunate that we live in a generation where we make our success so personal that it crowds the Kingdom work and more so, we neglect to translate our success into stewardship to glorify God and His people. We are convinced that God is raising a new breed of spiritual entrepreneurs and corporate executives and empowering them to create substantial wealth. This new breed sees wealth, not as an end to be sought after, but as a tool to do the work of God and promote the agenda of Jesus Christ.
