Theme: The Love of Money
"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." - 1 Tim 6:10
As a Christian, it's essential to understand your true identity. You're not of this world. In today’s society, many compromise their values for money. While it may seem normal, it is fundamentally wrong. You're different. Seek the wisdom of God: "Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold" (Prov 8:10).
Don't let money be your motivation. Money is a tool. If you function in divine wisdom, money will follow you, as it responds to wisdom. The Word cautions about the love of money, not its abundance. Even the poor can love money. It's determined by how much your actions are controlled by it. When someone is willing to compromise their integrity for money, they're driven by the love of money that God warns against.
Maintain a good conscience. True worth is not measured by your bank balance but by who you are inside. Focus on developing your character through the Word. Work on becoming rather than having, for with who you are, you will have.
Today's Confession:
Precious Father, you hold success in store for the upright; and you're a shield to those whose walk is blameless. I'm prosperous and successful in all things, guided by your wisdom. Your infallible truths are my delight and meditation! Thus, I have all that I require for a joyous, successful, prosperous, and victorious life, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Thank you, Jesus!
