LIKEMINDS in collaboration with West Nigeria Christian College and School of Biblical Studies (WNCC & SBS) write to invite youths in your congregation to the 9th edition of the SOUTHWEST CHRISTIAN YOUTH RETREAT, taking place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th March 2016 at WNCC & SBS Campus, Abeokuta. The theme for this edition is “THE CHRIST IN YOU.” The text is taken from GALATIANS 2:20. The aim is to revive faith in God in our youths especially in a rapidly changing world where the love and believe in Him is in a steady decline. The youths will also get insights on how Christ and His power in us can help us become uncommon achievers in our careers, relationships, marriages and Christian journey. The keynote is titled: “PITFALLS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE” The Retreat will also feature: • Accappela competition (cash prizes to be won) • A visit to a home of the less privileged • Prayers and Devotion • Open Forum discussion/split sessions • Counseling/Health Talk • Sports, games, and lots more Accommodation and feeding will be provided for youths attending the retreat. Each participant is expected to pay a participation fee of N1000.00 (One thousand naira only). Intending participants should register early as accommodation facilities and Souvenirs shall be given on a first come, first served basis.
