In celebration of South African National Beer Day on the 4th Feb, we're holding a group brewing demonstration. 5 of us will be brewing on our own, very different and unique systems, on the day. This is an awesome way to learn about the different brewing options and techniques. A great opportunity to get involved in the brew day and ask the brewers everything! Scott and Gary Rowland are hosting us at their awesome home in Hillcrest, and will be brewing on their 30 liter Grainfather system. Dion van Huyssteen will be brewing on his 30 liter homebrew system made out of old 50 liter kegs, Mike Brown will be doing a small scale BIAB, and Megan Gemmell will be doing a larger BIAB batch in her 20 liter urn. We will all be brewing BrewDogs Elvis Juice. Mash in at 7am sharp! We'll have coffee ready :D There is only be space for 10 people to attend the brew day due to space constraints, so please RSVP as soon as possible to avoid dissapointment. We can't wait! If anyone wants to brew the Elvis Juice recipe in their own time, please do, as we will have an Elvis Juice clone brew competition in a couple months time with some epic prizes.
