Lokoza by Zee Ntuli and Isabelle Mayor
Opening with Lokoza, which sees Themba, a boy, in love with Khanya, who has been his best friend for years. Khanya has a new boyfriend, KG, who promises her a safe future, Themba must fight to get her back until he goes one step too far.
Paraya by Sheetal Magan and Martín Morgenfeld
Paraya opens with the South African metropolis of Durban. While the streets are buzzing, a young woman moves restlessly through the night trying to find the father of her baby boy. Propelled by an invisible command that urges her forward, she takes it in her own hands to shape her future.
The Beast by Samantha Nell and Michael Wahrmann
The Beast takes place at an ordinary day at a Zulu cultural village. Shaka, their star performer, expresses his frustrations to his co-workers as he sits on display for tourists until he reaches the end of his tether and his protest takes on Shakespearian proportion.
Gallo Rojo by Zamo Mkhwanazi and Alejandro Padel
Gallo Rojo begins with a forgotten hotel. Two groups of men. All seem locked in this strange architecture from a previous era. A red and a black rooster share with the men the reclusion, witnesses of a battle, an abstract war, a nightmare.
