In honour and celebration of Women’s month She Runs The Night invites you to come and run with us! She Runs The Night will be a night run that is run by 50 women through the streets of Braamfontein on the evening of the 17th of August 2017. In light of the most shocking recent attacks on women, She Runs The Night invites all women to come kitted out in as many lights as they can and run for a cause! You can run for safety, for freedom, for our mothers, daughters and sisters, for the right to be able to walk or run at night without fear for our lives. Performance Artist Anthea Moys and female boxing champions from George Khosi's Hillbrow Boxing Club will be leading the way! Join us! What to Bring: Write out what/who you will be running for What to Wear: dark clothes, but then to wear as many lights (head lamps, fairy lights, torches) on your body as possible!
