The Embassy of Spain in Tanzania, along with the Goethe-Institut in Dar es Salaam, presents a new season of Spanish movies. EVERY THURSDAY OF JUNE AT 7 PM FREE ENTRANCE + a complimentary glass of Spanish wine 1st June : La Caja 507 (The Box 507) by Enrique Urbizo, Spain 2002, 112 min Bank manager Modesto Pardo’s daughter dies in a forest fire while camping. 7 years later, Pardo’s bank gets robbed. The breaking unveils important secrets that will change Pardo’s life forever. 8th June: Truman by Cesc Gay Spain/Argentina 2015, 109 min Julián receives an unexpected visit from his friend Tomás, who lives in Canada. The two men, accompanied by Julián's faithful dog, Truman, will share emotional and surprising moments prompted by Julián's complicated situation. 15th June: Tésis (Thesis) by Alejandro Amenábar Spain 1996, 125 min While doing a thesis about violence, Ángela finds a snuff video where a girl is tortured until death. Soon she discovers that the girl was a former student in her faculty. 22nd June: Cosas que nunca te dije (Things I never told you) by Isabel Coixet Spain/USA 1996, 93 min (* OST: English) Ann's boyfriend calls her from Prague. Twenty-five days after leaving her at the airport, he confesses he does not love her anymore and that he is with another girl. 29th June: Stockholm by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Spain 2012, 90 min A guy tries to get a girl he meets at a party to like him.
