Harmony , honest, pure, soulful, celestial are the many understatements that describe vocalist and instrumentalist PHILIP FIL-AH TUJU. ten years now and it has been a steady and sure rise for FIL-AH. He began singing in 1999 with the group PENTAMONY which started out as a high school acapella group and grew to be come among the top vocal groups in Kenya. Philip recently headlined his successful show at Tree House Nairobi backed by his band Gravitti. PHILIP TUJU has completed his solo debut album EVERY DREAM that will feature his creation, THE EWFX CHORUS a youth choir from Kenya . he is also the choir director of Upper Hill School choir and Highway Secondary School Choir Apart from working on his own projects, PHILIP has been involved in charity work where he featured in a charity music CD called MR. OMONDIS NO.1 SINGERS sponsored by CONCERN and AIDLINK He has also recorded with Norwegian group MEELODI in the group’s album. PHILIP TUJU has also had great experience in international tours having recently returned from a tour of Bergen Norway. PHILIP was recently awarded a partial scholarship to study at the BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC .
