National Museum of Tanzania Shaaban Robert Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Did you know that the world's second largest Lutheran community is located in Tanzania?
Over the last five months the Goethe-Institut Tanzania in collaboration with Charles Kayoka, photographer and activist, and Gadi Ramadhani, curator, did a research on the presence of the Lutheran church in Tanzania. The research showed how the Lutheran church was able to influence the Tanzanian society since its arrival.
The final results of the research are presented in an exhibition at the National Museum of Tanzania and House of Culture.
The exhibition starts on the 19 July 2017, 6:30pm and will be on display until the 26 July 2017.
On the same 19 July 2017 Charles Kayoka will hold a presentation and podium discussion about the findings of the research also at the House of Culture.
