Adv. Emmanuel Bakilana shall be talking to the club about "Registering a Business in Tanzania." Emmanuel is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a leading young corporate lawyer. He is also a member of our club since 2016. At the University he was the Editor-in-Chief of Nyerere Law Journal, the oldest law journal in East and Central Africa. He was also Team Captain to the National Champions & Moot Court Team Lead Counsel that represented Tanzania at the Phillip C.Jessup Moot Court Competition held in Washington D.C of April every year. He was also briefly a President at the Rotaract Club of Kwanza at the University of Dar es Salaam and an active member of the club throughout his university years. Immediately upon graduation and subsequent enrolment to the Bar, Emmanuel is responsible for advising and assisting his clients on registration and legal regulatory compliance support of numerous local and multinational companies across key sectors of the economy.
