LADY EVA screens in the Queer Kampala International Film Festival on December 9, 2017. Queer KIFF is the first ever and only LGBTQ themed film festival to open up in Uganda. The Trans screens Program at Queer KIFF focuses on a series of Trans Films and documentaries that promote the visibility of transgender and gender variant people and challenge the mainstream media’s negative stereotypes of our trans communities. The main goal for this is to engage our audiences in cross-community dialogue. For security purposes we are not revealing the venues. We will have special passes for anyone who wants to attend our film screenings, parties, Workshops and discussions. All our events are free of charge.
