On Saturday, 12th July 2025, the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi joyfully announces the Priestly Ordination of four deacons into the Sacred Order of the Priesthood. This sacred rite will be conferred by His Lordship, Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye, the Chief Shepherd of our Diocese.

These young men have been found worthy in character, formation, and faith, ready to serve as alter Christus — other Christs — in service to God and humanity.

We invite the faithful, friends, families, and the entire Church community to join us in prayerful support as they step into this eternal “Yes” to God.
