Humid, butterfly-infested forests, rugged, rock-strewn lacustrine shorelines, abseilable cliffs, awesome sunsets over the largest man-made lake on Earth, and a great sense of achievement in a relaxing expedition location are the promises of the Poseidon Hiking Challenge.
You will eat camp-cooked food (we hope you don't burn breakfast too much), pitch your tent along the sandy shores of the Volta Lake (snoring is aloud during the night), and learn how to survive in the great Ghanaian Outdoors.
We leave at noon on Friday, September 25 from the Accra Mall Bus Stop, and we'll return Sunday evening.
The expedition costs just 350-GHC and covers for transport, food, water, tents, maps, compasses, and emergency medical care.
