For this unique project Noorderlicht Foundation and Nuku Studio have been chosen to create a photographic documentation of Northern Ghana in conjunction with an academic program with the same title. By assigning internationally acclaimed photographic artists and a group of young talented Ghanaian photographers Noorderlicht builds a unique combination of academic research and photography. This project aims to combine academic, documentary, and artistic visions into one coherent whole. The photographers include Jan Banning, Peter di Campo, Patrick Wilocq, Nii Obodai, Eric Gyamfi, Francis Kokoroko, Geoffrey Buta, Collinjam Moses, and Gerard Nartey. La fondation néerlandaise Noorderlicht et le studio ghanéen Nuku ont collaboré à l’occasion d’un projet artistique original de recherche photographique et académique sur les régions du nord du Ghana. Les résultats de ces recherches, entreprises par un groupe de photographes internationaux reconnus et de jeunes photographes ghanéens talentueux, seront exposées et débattues lors de ce forum de discussion.
