A Celebration of Peace through Music and Culture Festival is a special concert created by African Youth Volunteers for Peace (AYVP) an Initiative of World Youth Volunteers for Peace (WYVP), and Rockies Troupe that will take place on September 09, 2016 as we prepare to celebrate International Day of Peace. It will take place at Hotel Triangle in Kampala, Uganda. The concert will feature Rockies Troupe as the main performer and Guest artists. A Celebration of Peace through Music and Culture Festival is a Four-hour show that will take place this summer 2016 in Uganda.
A Celebration of Peace through Music and Culture Festival is a celebration of music and spirit, open to people of all faiths. Conducted by AYVP/WYVP, Rockies Troupe and Partners, the concert will honor the Burundi and Congo refugees in Uganda who fled their countries in search for Peace and love; 70 percent of the contribution will go to support the Refugees who still live in Camps. Each musical work that will be performed, it will be selected to reflect the spirit of these refugees towards their commitment to peace and understanding among people of all faiths. This concert will aim at showing us all how music and spirit can unite our world.

As Peacebuilders, it is our privilege to bring Rockies Troupe and other artists to audiences; we are delighted to present to the public this momentous concert event and its important message of tolerance and peace.
Music has the power to bring people together, to bridge any difference. Through its transcendent language on this singular, historic occasion our musical tribute to the refugees and those engaged in peace, it will offer a powerful uplifting message for our time.
Please join us as we listen to some sounds of persuasion and passion past and present while we perform for peace. We are performing culturally and the music and dance will be presented in all Cultures of Uganda, Rwanda and other countries.
