The Swiss Hotel School, South Africa, dedicated to providing students with the best possible training in order to become professionals in the Hospitality industry is celebrating its 22nd year as a private higher education institution. During their third year, the graduating class is tasked with developing a Pop-Up Restaurant which requires them to operate an in-house restaurant for a month. Alongside the creative aspect involved, students need to illustrate skills in financial control, purchasing, planning as well as business management.
The Graduating Class of 2017 invites you to what will be the 10th edition of The Swiss Hotel School Restaurant Project ‘Panda’, allowing us to make use of the skills we have obtained throughout the 3-year management programme. The theme this year takes inspiration from Asian Culture and the wide variety of cuisine it has inspired. By making use of techniques and traditions associated with Asian food, as well as the incorporation of modern-day craft elements we bring you a perfect blend of tradition & trends that will leave you longing for more.
