Open Data Day is an exciting international event that is volunteer led. Open Data Day provides a perfect opportunity for Developers, UI/UX Designers, Journalists, Statisticians and Open Data Enthusiasts to convene and collaborate on Open Data projects that will be beneficial to their fellow citizens. The International Open Data Day will take place on the 21st February, 2015. It is free and open to all. No prior experience with open data or programming is required. Register now to attend. This event is organised by Code for Ghana.
Code for Ghana aims to help shape the Open Data Movement in Ghana. Our goal is to encourage citizen participation in governance through open data.

Open Data Workshop,
Talks from Open Data Experts and Hacking. After short the talks and presentations, we will break-up into groups and decide on
simple yet useful open data solutions to community problems. Typically, projects may be targeted at areas such as:
education
health
government transparency
corruption
data-journalism
turning open-data into machine readable formats;
There will be prizes for interesting projects.
