Nubian Noël is the annual musical extravaganza that ushers in the festive season of Christmas celebration in Ghana. The concert features an eclectic fusion of music genres for an ‘Afropopera’ effect: classical music blends with afrobeat, traditional Ghanaian rhythms, theatre, dance and visual art elements to create a stunning audiovisual masterpiece.

The Nubian Noël audience will enjoy crossover performances featuring the multitalented musical ensemble The Band Kokui, the Rutolo String Quartet and surprise guest artistes representing different musical genres. This year’s event will take place on 1 December, 2022 at 6pm on the National Theatre main stage. 

The concert also serves as a fundraising vehicle in support of the St. Joseph’s Basic School in Maame Krobo, Afram Plains. We intend to continue supporting them this year and it is our belief that with each ticket purchased, we can merge great entertainment and charity to elevate the audience experience and to make a positive impact on society as performing artists working for a good cause.
